Hello, I'm Adriana Leigh.
I am an international award-winning changemaker, thought leader and Founder and Principal Consultant at ALG Consulting. I bring 20 years of diverse global experience as a workplace human rights lawyer and facilitator in building respectful and collaborative teams and workplaces, gender-based violence prevention and DEI. She has vast experience working nationally and internationally with the United Nations and international aid organizations, in addition to the private and public sector. As a policy advisor, I help organizations develop inclusive trauma-informed policies and processes including policies on harassment, gender-based violence, discrimination prevention and workplace wellbeing, with expertise in reporting mechanisms to build a safer culture. As a facilitator and learning and development designer, I have expertise in building the skills necessary to implement policies, improve empathetic communication, prevent and respond to harassment and discrimination, and manage conflict across difference. I draws on heart, humour, and deep subject matter and human rights education expertise! I have worked with a wide range of global organizations including: Google Ads Legal Team, Communications Security Establishment Canada, Crossroads International, UN Women Georgia, Public Defender (Ombudsman) of Georgia, Human Rights Legal Support Centre of Ontario – SHARE Project, UN International Trade Center -She Trades Initiative and Electricity Human Resources Canada. A natural facilitator, at once positive, passionate, forceful, articulate, and pragmatic, clients respond most favourably to my candor, sense of humour, warmth, and knack for communicating concepts practically, building capacity and identifying gaps in policy and culture.
