Hello, I'm Josh P.
Josh Peterson is a seasoned executive and strategic business leader with over 25 years of experience driving profitable growth and breakthrough innovation across the technology landscape. With deep roots at HP and a proven ability to lead at scale, Josh brings a unique blend of visionary thinking, commercial execution, and servant leadership. Josh previously held executive roles at HP Inc., where he led product strategy, innovation, and segment marketing for the $2.9B global workstation business. He helped HP maintain industry-leading market share while launching category-defining innovations such as the world’s first Machine Learning Workstation (Z8ML), the Z VR Backpack, and the Mini Workstation (Z2 Mini). His cross-functional leadership and product vision generated over $770M in new revenue through customer-focused innovation and global alignment. Currently, Josh serves as General Manager of the B2B Division at ZAGG/Mophie, leading the end-to-end business including product strategy, P&L, marketing, engineering, sales, and partnerships. He created the division’s growth strategy, revamped the solution portfolio, and helped reposition the business across Education, Retail, Healthcare, Government, and Field Services. His work is modernizing a well-known consumer brand into a dynamic B2B growth engine. Prior to ZAGG, Josh served as SVP of Product & Innovation at OtterBox, where he led a global team and managed multiple P&Ls. He spearheaded partnerships with Corning and PopSockets, expanded into new product categories (screen protection, power, outdoor, wearables), and delivered 5.1x revenue growth in non-core categories. His leadership consistently turned bold ideas into scalable business outcomes. Josh thrives in GM and P&L ownership roles, especially where innovation, organizational growth, and commercial impact intersect. He’s passionate about building empowered, high-performing teams, and driving meaningful results in complex, matrixed environments. Known for aligning business strategy with customer insight and technical depth, Josh is as comfortable in the C-suite as he is in front of customers or engineers. Josh holds an MBA from Colorado State University and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder. He also completed the Chief Product Officer Certificate from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management. He currently shares his passion for leadership and business impact as a part-time adjunct professor at CSU’s College of Business.
