As background, I departed from my role as President & CEO of the Bank of New York Trust Company of Canada (a wholly owned subsidiary of The Bank of New York Mellon Corp) in 2023 after 10.5 years. I took full advantage of some time off to reset, refocus and to spend some quality time with family members. While pursuing a full-time position during this career transitioning phase, I’m currently a self-employed strategic advisor​/​consultant assisting companies with their growth initiatives and capital raising activities. Despite my seniority, I plan on remaining very active in the business community indefinitely given my drive, energy level and passion to add value. I have held senior management roles with international and domestic financial service firms including, with the Bank of New York Trust Company of Canada, Wood Gundy, CIBC World Markets, Midland Walwyn Capital, Merrill Lynch Canada, Blackmont Capital (acquired by CI Financial Corp) and Research Capital. Throughout my career, I have been exposed to all facets of the financial service industry and have had the opportunity to work both domestically & internationally in Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, Calgary, New York, Boston, Tokyo, Hong Kong and Singapore. For reference, I have Canadian​/​US dual-citizenship. In-depth senior client relationships established primarily with public and private Canadian financial institutions including, banks, life insurance, pension companies and a wide range of debt issuers. Also, have extensive investor relationships with C-suite Investment Advisors, Portfolio Managers, Ultra-High Net Worth and Family Offices as well in-depth relationships within the Canadian legal and professional services community.
