I am a trained and qualified data protection practitioner living in Milton Keynes, with a CIPP​/​E. I have significant experience in implementing change to ensure compliance with privacy laws and related frameworks, ensuring a pragmatic and commercial approach. I am a motivated learner with a passion for data protection. I have been working in a variety of voluntary roles building up my experience, where I have designed and implemented privacy programmes from scratch. This has included drafting all the relevant documentation, policies and notices needed for a company to be compliant, as well as RoPA, breach procedures and associated documentation. As well as this, I have extensive training, education, and management experience which enables me to work at varying levels within a company structure. This I find is invaluable when it comes to working alongside stakeholders to help them understand the importance of privacy and to ‘buy in’ to the programme. I also have recent experience in building and maintain SharePoint sites for one of my charities. I would relish the opportunity to take on this exciting new role.
