Jace Goddard has 20 years of practical experience. In that time, she has developed skills in administrative, program and project management, strategic communications, and research and development. Within the strategic communications realm, she has led a team of 8 employees who work with her to achieve program execution and strategic communication goals. In her portfolio is a team of visual information specialists, print specialist, media officers, internal and external communicators and web managers. Her time as a Strategic Communications Manager has allowed her to develop and execute effective communication strategies that deliver results. Specifically, during her recent detail as Deputy Director of Communications for Region 3, she was responsible for overseeing and facilitating strategic communications across multiple channels for a variety of internal and external stakeholders (including coordinating an event with secret service and the President of the United States). She loves to lead and learn from her employees! She feels that empowered employees are productive employees. Her ability to listen to her employees, communicate effectively, and lead with compassion have been her greatest strengths as a leader. She is a strong team player, and believes that teamwork and a positive and nurturing work environment is fundamental to the success of any organization. As a leader, having consistent communication with her team helps her guide and support them effectively. By fostering a culture of collaboration and cooperation, she and her team were able to launch successful campaigns, strengthen brand recognition, and increase opportunities to highlight outstanding work. While there have been many proud moments and products produced by Jace and her team, her proudest accomplishment is the respect of her team. It takes time and true human investment to make a team run smoothly and be successful.
