I am an executive with senior management experience and skills and experience both in the energy and sustainability sectors and in those of information and communication technologies. I have more than seventeen years of experience in the field of sustainability, having started working in 2006 as director of an investment program in the photovoltaic sector in an international investment bank; in 2009 I co-founded and managed a private fund of 32 M€, specialized in photovoltaic systems in Italy, and between 2011 and 2017 I was President and CEO of a consultancy firm which carried out, among other things, numerous assignments for the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), all related to the renewable energy and energy efficiency markets, in various countries. As Senior International Adviser of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), I was also tasked with carrying out a long-term consultancy for a leading Romanian company in the management of packaging waste (Extended Producer Responsibility), whose scope included organizational review and improvement, service portfolio innovation and international strategic development; a similar assignment recently started in Morocco, to support a company specialised in electrical plants and renewables projects. Currently, among other tasks, I am a consultant for a nascent industrial company in the "green" hydrogen sector, while also strategically advising an Italian SME in an international M&A deal and setting up its managerial control system. As Innovation Manager, I work with an academic spin-off specialised in technology transfer and EU-funded projects, and I was and am involved, in the last few years, in three projects, funded by the European Space Agency, all related to the application of both satellite and AI​/​ML technologies to social and environmental problems. I also have significant experience in startups in various sectors, both in managerial roles and as a business angel and mentor. Finally, from 2017 to 2022, I was a Board Member Director of AMIAT SpA (IREN Group), representing the Municipality of Turin: the company, one of the largest municipal waste management companies in Italy, is controlled (80%) by IREN SpA, one of the largest Italian multi-utility companies, listed at the Italian Stock Exchange.
